It's pretty straightforward to install a gas burning stove. Typically there are two type of installation as shown in picture below
The most important factors to be considered:
1. Heating capacity
- It's a great heating appliance. More efficient than fireplace since it's surrounded by indoor air.
- Be clear if it's a main heat source for garage or suppliment heat source for basement. This will affect the heating capacity.
2. No frame work needed
- It's a stand-alone appliance. Therefore there is no frame around it.
- It needs a bit clearance if there is conbustible material around it
